| The demands on firefighters are enormous. From saving lives to protecting property, they expose themselves to tremendous dangers not seen by the average citizen. It is important to offer comforts that can soften the burden of firefighters as they routinely respond to crises. The Cyclone® II offers a roomy floor to ceiling height, a low overall engine cover height and an open cab for comfortable seating and excellent visibility. Padded upholstery and fiberglass insulation add to the comfort factor, making a brutal job more civilized. In addition to comfort, the Cyclone® II is loaded with features that further add to it's refined nature. ABS brakes are standard, which helps to maintain control in sudden stops. Engine noise and heat are isolated from the cab by use of an internal heat resistant high performance fiberglass insulation and a ¼" padded vinyl exterior blanket while rubber cab mounts reduce vibrations. Versatility in cab sizes include the short (44 ½" CA*), the popular medium (58" CA*), the long (67 ½" CA*) and the extended length (80" CA*). Seating arrangements are available for up to ten fully equipped firefighters. Vista roofs and full height doors are also available options. *CA - Cab to axle - center line of front axle to back of cab wall | | | | - Extruded aluminum cab with 3/16" thick plate skin, roof, and floor for maximum occupant protection and superior corrosion resistance.
