The Draeger Bump Test Station is a simple, intuitive device that allows a function (bump) test to be performed with a test gas in order to make sure the warning functions of the gas detector are operating. If the bump test fails, these Draeger gas detectors can also be calibrated with this device and be ready within minutes.
Because the Draeger Bump Test Station operates without an external power supply, it's an intrinsically safe device that can be used in the field or in a location where gas may be present.
Another great feature of the Draeger Bump Test Station is how economically it uses the test gas. Because the unit fits closely to the gas cylinder, there is very little wasted gas going through hoses. Typically the bump test station can use a 54 liter cal gas canister for over 500 bump tests. Compare this with the 200 or so tests derived from competitive systems, and you can realize a real savings in the cost of gas monitor operating supplies.Key Features:
- No external power needed
- Inexpensive compared with comparable bump test/calibration units
- Compatible with standard 34L, 58L, or 103L mixed gas cylinders
- Fast calibrations and bump tests
- Typically gets over 500 bumps out of 58L cylinder
